Association News/Announcements: AKISAN Atlanta Donates Items for Solomon's Temple Foundation

Solomon's Temple Foundation is our adopted Non-Profit Organization. We donate items to them monthly.
Solomon's Temple is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the eradication of homelessness by empowering women and their children to overcome life's challenges, realize their potential, define their own destiny and become vital factors in the revitalization and sustainability of their community.
Previously known as Springdale Place and operated by Fulton County, Solomon's Temple offers 130 residential facility for homeless women and their children. Located in metro Atlanta on 1 acre of park space which includes a playground, a basketball court, a gazebo and walking trails, it offers families in transition a peaceful setting to move toward stability.
At this August event were, among others, the Chapter President, Mr. Uwem Umoren, the Treasurer, Mrs. Elizabeth Ekpenyong, as well as Dr. Ammazi Akpan, Mr. Itoro Akpan-Iquot and the Abasutes (Ekong, Helen and Dara).
